Search for "HP DV6000 BIOS update" to find: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01087277&lc=en&cc=us#c01087277_bios When you drill down for the HP Pavilion dv6000z CTO laptop you'll find that the most current BIOS is "2009-03-25 , Version:F.42, 3.13M".
