Anyone tested a laptop with turbo boost in Linux / Fedora? I heard/experienced problems with mobile processor and linux.
I suggested a laptop to my professor (HP PAVILION DV6-2090 with Core i7 720QM processor). There Turbo boost is not working for OpenSuse Linux kernel 2.6.31. Will the 2.6.31 branch of kernels in Fedora work with this processor? Can anyone suggest a laptop with turbo boost enabled in Fedora linux.
