Hi
You should check you can write to the modem. Might also need to check
permissions of user running kannel.
Use minicomn or vwdial to check. Then use the same parameters dev/ttyxxxx,
speed to configure kannel.
should work in a VM if you do "share" the device from the host to the VM.
