Hi Sms throughput depends on what your carrier/smsc allows you to send.
In smpp smsc it is usually limited by what you contract with your carrier and can go from 1 sms/sec to 10 or more sms/sec. with modems (smsc-at), you are limited by the protocol itself, available radio channels, signal quality, etc. Here usually you get something like 1 sms each 5-10 seconds. I usually do my calculations with 480 sms/hr. In both cases, you can use multiple links in order to increase your total throughput. On the first you need to negotiate it with your provider; in the second, you need to purchase more modems and sims with the correct plan.
