Hi I have been using kannel in my organization as an SMPP gateway for the past two years. We are using the 1.4.3 version, which is the listed as the latest stable version on the website, which is obviously several years old. I just discovered this mailling list, and the SVN repository, and I was happy to see that a lot of development is still going on for Kannel.
I want to try out a newer version now (one of the main reasons is the loss of DLR data after kannel restarts). However, the guy responsible for server management here would much rather install from a package respository (yum on centos 6.3) rather than build from svn trunk (this is mostly to easy deployments and maintenance). I can't seem to find any new version on any of the popular repositories (1.4.3 seems to be the popular one). Does anyone here know any? If there are none, I will eventually convince this guy that we have to build it ourselves to get the advantages of the latest versions. Thanks! Abdul Munim Kazia m...@munimkazia.com
