I understand the reasoning for the files. The reason why I am asking is that our kannel server was restarted yesterday and a lot of old messages were sent that should not have been due to the date difference from when they were first created and this caused a lot of issues and I'm trying to avoid that again by clearing out the messages that still exist in that file.
