Hello Hillel,

because kannel does not support "bind_transmitter/bind_receiver" PDUs to the
SMSC explicitly I managed to do it by using configuration below:

kannelRX.conf
=================================================================
group = core
admin-port = 13000
admin-password = xxxxxxx
log-file = "/var/log/kannel/bearerboxRX.log"
log-level = 0
access-log = "/var/log/kannel/bearerbox_accessRX.log"
# Smsbox related
smsbox-port = 13001
box-deny-ip = "*.*.*.*"
box-allow-ip = "127.0.0.1"

# SMSC SMPP
group = smsc
smsc = smpp
smsc-id = coms
host = xxxxxx
port = 3339
receive-port = 3339
interface-version=34
enquire-link-interval = 295
connect-allow-ip = 127.0.0.1
transceiver-mode = no
smsc-username = USER1
smsc-password = PASS1
system-type = chat
source-addr-ton = 2
source-addr-npi = 1
dest-addr-ton = 1
dest-addr-npi = 1

# SMSBOX SETUP
group = smsbox
smsbox-id = "fakesmsc1"
bearerbox-host = localhost
log-file = "/var/log/kannel/smsbox.logRX"
log-level = 1
access-log = "/var/log/kannel/smsbox_access.logRX"

# SMS routing setup
group = smsbox-route
smsbox-id = sms4chat
smsc-id = "coms"
=================================================================

kannelTX.conf
=================================================================
group = core
admin-port = 14000
admin-password = xxxxxxx
log-file = "/var/log/kannel/bearerboxTX.log"
log-level = 0
access-log = "/var/log/kannel/bearerbox_accessTX.log"
# Smsbox related
smsbox-port = 14001
box-deny-ip = "*.*.*.*"
box-allow-ip = "127.0.0.1"
sms-resend-retry = 2

# SMSC SMPP
group = smsc
smsc = smpp
smsc-id = coms
host = xxxxxxxxx
port = 3339
interface-version=34
enquire-link-interval = 298
connect-allow-ip = 127.0.0.1
transceiver-mode = no
receive-port = 0
smsc-username = USER1
smsc-password = PASS1
system-type = chat
source-addr-ton = 2
source-addr-npi = 1
dest-addr-ton = 1
dest-addr-npi = 1

# SMSBOX SETUP
group = smsbox
smsbox-id = "fakesmsc2"
bearerbox-host = localhost
log-file = "/var/log/kannel/smsboxTX.log"
log-level = 1
access-log = "/var/log/kannel/smsbox_accessTX.log"

=================================================================

There is nothing specific in opensmppbox configuration.

In fact kannelRX binds to SMSC as tranceiver and kannelTX as transmitter so
SMSC could route correctly messages to RX connection only.

If there is anything I could help more....

Regards,
Velin.
