Hello Joseph, A free and easy solution to implement over Kannel would be PlaySMS ( playsms.org) Give a try to this Web GUI application that linked to Kannel can do what you are looking for. PlaySMS have a pack of plugins where one of them called SMS Subscribe allow you to create a list of subscriber registered by SMS. They can unregistered from list by sending unreg keyword. You will have a lot of functions included and you can develop what you need for the Parking service based on the following plugin. PlaySMS is GPL licensed.
