How to remove split chars

Dear users,
When I used split chars, for example:
"this is first MT#this is second MT"

Kannel split to two message: "this is first MT#" and "this is second MT".
Please tell me how to tell Kannel remove "#" char on the first message? I
want first message not include '#' char.
