I have an smppbox that is connected to the gateway. I am using a simple smpp client to send messages. The system works fine in general. However, I have been trying to send the symbol "@" to a mobile phone but I did not manage to receive the sms eventually. After the "@" symbol and including it there is no text received by the phone. I don't know what the problem is but it seems Kannel has some issues with forwarding Symbols like "@" or "=" in texts. Anybody has any idea why this could happen?
