Don't know about the other modems you mention, but if you want this issue
addressed, you should provide a dump of the packet received (from memory
memory?). It could be that the SMSc is sending corrupted packets. Does this
happen always or just sometimes?

I checked in the mailing list archive, it appears to happen with siemens
M20
and other modems like wavecom.
Does someone got similar issue ?
