Although Im new to kannel and dont have a lot of experience I do have some Telit modems that I could test and in the process gain more experience with kannal.
So if there are some thoughts on test criteria pass it a long. This way, we all wont have to go over the 'testing' process to make a choice. The manufacturers will also be glad because the listed 'certified' modems will definitely have an increased sale. Suggestion: we could begin with a "Kannel certified" list on our website, that states which GSM modems have been confirmed to work without problems. Then approach the GSM modem vendors and ask them to send in devices for testing as donations. Does that make sense?
