Kannel SMS Concatenation

Hi

My kannel config file has:
group = sendsms-user
username = xxx
password = xxx
concatenation= true
max-messages=10

But when I send long SMS, I still receive it as multiple SMS instead of one
long SMS.

I am using GSM modem with SIM card.

Any thing I didn't do right?
