Yes. It is just a linux debian machine with openswan and openvpn ( i use
only those two type of vpn ) and a quagga demon to manage a complex
dynamic routing ( we have many VPNs, more than 200 for many things, not
only for kannel ).

Nothing to suggest. You can use what your provider support. Usually it
is IPSec, so, openswan is what you need to use. If you can, i prefer to
use openvpn cause of better nat traversal support and so on, but in any
case, you can do what you want even with openswan. Using a VPN on the
same host of your kannel daemon isn't a problem at all, from the kannel
view, a virtual network device isn't different from a real one, so, no
difference at all.

The only question you need to do yourself is: What kind of VPN your
provider support? ( i bet on IPSec ).
