SMPP to UCP gateway

Hi,

I have an application that can only send SMS through SMPP and my SMSC only accepts UCP. I only need to sens SMS MT, not receiving SMS MO.
Do you know if Kannel can works as a gateway to converts SMPP to UCP ?
