Kannel is not MMSC but you can use it to send OTA or WAP Push messages
that are starting point to send MMS on to the phone.
If you do this first step, may be you will get moe clear idea.

Try sending the GPRS/MMS settings using OTA. Nokia site has good
document on what goes in XML for the OTA. May be even kannel has few
samples in it's src somewhere.

You can receive incoming MMS using kannel.(Please correct me if i am wrong.)
