Hi Dido,

Do you have an updated patch for the current Kannel 1.3.1 Development versions? The current kannel CVS gives me errors when I'm compiling it, but I'm able to install the Kannel 1.3.1 well. Will the same URL reply command work on the new patch, if there are any available? Do I need to change anything on the conf file, especially the get-url parameter? It's currently set to:
get-url = "http://hostname.domain.com/sms/sms.asp?sender=%q&receiver=%P&text=%a&smsc=%i";

Thank you very much.

Hi Dido,

Okay. Sorry about that... I have your patch forwarded to by my friend below... If I apply the patch to the latest CVS version of kannel, how should I invoke the reply command?

eg., should it be like this?
http://your.domain.name/cgi-bin/sendsms?username=xxx&password=xxx&cimd2_tariff_class=14&cimd2_sdesc=25&from=xxx&to=09189999999&text=xxx&smsc

No

It should be

http://your.domain.name/cgi-bin/sendsms?username=xxx&password=xxx&binfo=1425&from=xxx&to=09189999999&text=xxx&smsc
                                                                 ^^^^^^^^^^

The current CVS uses binfo to do this. In this way, you can set billing
information and service description for Globe, Smart, and Sun Cellular
(which also apparently uses EMI/UCP, only Smart seems to use CIMD2) in
the exact same way.
