Hi,

I use Kafka 0.11.3

I delete topics from Kafka using the command *kafka-topic.sh *and after a
while, I observer Kafka just mark topics for deletion while the
property *delete.topic.enable
*was true! So I stop Kafka cluster and delete the data log directory of
Kafka using the command *rm -r /data/**
After that, I open the Zookeeper CLI and remove the directory */brokers/topics.
*Next, I start the Kafka nodes and it runs as fresh Kafka cluster and I
create topics with the same name as those topics I deleted manually.
Surprisingly I observe (using the command *du -sh /data/**) the data
directory of Kafka change from 0 to 9.0G when I create all topics!!!!

There is no producer running and I guess Kafka restore the previous deleted
topics' data from somewhere (locally not remotely because it reaches 9.0G
in a blink of an eye!)

I have 2 Kafka node and 2 Zookeeper node on my cluster.

What is the problem with Kafka?
