Hi, Great explanation. However, I keep experiencing situations in which the "rebalancing state" just does not disappear. To my understanding, latest by the time of the session timer having expired across all consumers, the rebalancing state should go away.
The only way, I manage to get rid of it, is to fire up a console-consumer for that group (via --config). Theoretically this should not be able to read from that partition either, but it well does. Also it seems to reset this "rebalancing state". Any idea ? Thank you, Jochen
