Hi seen some discussion on this but nothing definitive. If I have a 0.8.1.1 back end then can I safely use a 0.8.2 client?
I can't upgrade the back end yet but want to start using Scala 2.11 in my client App but the lack of a 2.12 Kafka client dependency is holding me a 2.10. The earliest Kafka client with 2.11 is 0.8.2 Is it possible we could have a 2.11 build of the 0.8.1 client OR an assurance that the 2.11 0.8.2 client will work with an older 0.8.1.1 service? Thanks
