I have a SSL website and it shows around 180 ms as SSL time in http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/. This is huge delay for a site to load. (I am just referring about SSL time). I compared few other sites and found that their SSL load time is very low in 48ms or 15ms or 5ms etc. How can I optimize this SSL time in my website? What do I need to check like SSL ciphers, SSL certificate, or back-end applications?
