I don't necessarily agree with everything in that document, but it is referenced on this mailing list page ( http://httpd.apache.org/lists.html#http-users), so it is reasonable to reference it. If there are significant issues with it (I am not saying that there are), then I am sure someone can propose taking the link off the website or replacing it with something else.
I actually do think that this document is way too long as a welcome to a new poster. A concise bulleted list might be better. - Y On Mon, Nov 16, 2015 at 8:37 AM, Rich Bowen <rbo...@rcbowen.com> wrote: > > > On 11/15/2015 12:17 PM, Yehuda Katz wrote: > > Also read the link on the mailing list description page: "How To Ask > > Questions The Smart Way" > > <http://www.catb.org/%7Eesr/faqs/smart-questions.html> > > I ardently look forward to the day when people stop referencing that > document as though it's good advice. > > -- > Rich Bowen - rbo...@rcbowen.com - @rbowen > http://apachecon.com/ - @apachecon > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > To unsubscribe, e-mail: users-unsubscr...@httpd.apache.org > For additional commands, e-mail: users-h...@httpd.apache.org > >
