Hi Jehan, it is a FAQ: http://wiki.apache.org/tomcat/FAQ/Connectors#Q2 In my experience, the only difference is the ability of mod_jk to pass the SSL_* environment variables using the JkEnv directive, mod_proxy_ajp cannot do this.
