Hi folks,
This is a really, really minor enhancement, but we have REMOTE_ADDR and
REMOTE_PORT, would it make sense to have
REMOTE_PROTOCOL_FAMILY [Ie. either "IPv4"/"IPv6", or "2"/"10"] to
disambiguate the REMOTE_ADDR format ?
The IP protocol family can be reverse-engineered by checking the format
OTOH, so this is not a really major issue, but for consistency it might
make sense.
Or would it introduce some low-level protocol detail which has nothing to
do here ? (after all, the REMOTE_ADDR string can be parsed by the system,
whatever the format is)
