No http.sys makes it Windows only

but so does WSA commands now!

 

Anyway a lot of .NET (CLR really) is

in Mono and the many Silverlight .NET

usage versions for most OS browsers.

 

Remember C# is a standard now

and .NET is Microsft's version of it!
