Hi Brian Mearns,
I am still stuck. I need to connect to my Apache from the outside world (not
from within a LAN). I am using an ADSL modem (not router), so I think this
means that my server connects directly to the Internet. I used "whatismyip.com"
to find my public IP address and gave to a friend to try to use it as the
"http://" address to log into my Apache, but he said he could not connect.
When I installed Apache I used the word "localhost" as the Network Domain and
Server Name. Shouldn't I have done that ?
Thank you
