Hi Sander;

there are the two lines that I get from the error.log file

[Wed Nov 12 12:21:44 2008] [error] [client 192.168.12.189] (OS 3)The system 
cannot find the path specified.  : couldn't create child process: 720003: 
index.cgi
[Wed Nov 12 12:21:44 2008] [error] [client 192.168.12.189] (OS 3)The system 
cannot find the path specified.  : couldn't spawn child process: C:/Program 
Files/Apache Software Foundation/Apache2.2/htdocs/bugzilla/index.cgi

I do have perl loaded

I have associated the perl interpreter with cgi, I used these instructions to 
setup and configure Apache and to no avail!

Associate the .cgi filename extension with your Perl interpreter?  You do have 
Perl installed, right?
