Thanks salih,
i added the directive
<Directory "/user/lib/cgi-bin/mine">
 AllowOverride AuthConfig
</Directory>
in config file after line: AccessFileName .htaccess,
but now while accessing the same url i am getting the error as:
[Tue Apr 22 14:11:28 2008] [alert] [client 127.0.0.1]
/usr/lib/cgi-bin/mine/.htaccess: Invalid command 'AuthLDAPURL', perhaps
mis-spelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration
though the command is correct.
regards
syed
