Could somebody provide some advice on options to generate a pdf from xfdf on an Apache server?
1. How and is it possible to kick off Adobe reader by providing the xfdf name and having it bring up the pdf with the form fields populated. 2. How is it possible to perform a merge (I'd assume with a cgi) of the xfdf into pdf and create a flattenned pdf. I may be doing this on a hosted server so am cautious about what can and can't be installed into the o/s (rpm's for example). I'm also a little tight on cash which eliminates some of the $2K commercial products.
