What's the best way to keep hackers out of /dev/shm? I'm getting
the script kitties installing IRC bots.
Mount /dev/shm noexec.
More importantly, close the holes the script kiddies are getting in
through. Locking the front door is far more efficient long term than
leaving it open but putting a child gate at the bottom of the stairs.
Thanks for your help. How do I "lock the front door"?
Figure out from your logs how they are getting in, and seal the exploit.
I was hoping for a more specific answer. If I could have done that I
wouldn't be here asking how to do it.
