Make sure you have "Listen 443" and a "<VirtualHost IP:443> ... </VirtualHost>" somewhere in your httpd.conf.

Victor, Good question. The permissions *looked* OK. I went ahead and added "Authenticated Users" to the ACL, and I'm no longer seeing that error in the log. I'm not quite done, though.
