I understand perfectly now, thank you so much. Now that I understand, let me ask a follow-up question. Since I will not be using this installation of Apache for anything other than learning, should I set StartServers at 1 since I will only need 1 open connection? I can guarantee I won't be needing any extra idle connections for the time being, and it doesn't make sense to have extra processes running if I won't need them. And now I know how to increase that should I need to.
