Hi

 

is working with a redirect (in asp), a header(location:...) (in php) or a document.location(in _javascript_) not an option.

 

I don't know if changing the portnumber for ssl will change anything (I think you will still have to type the https://).
But I can be wrong off course.

I did a google search and had 164k come up.

This is on Apache's web site in archive.  Basiclly you use a mod_rewrite to do so.
