>So the "( Intel Xeon X3210 - 4gb memory )" will be replaced?

Well that server was used to send the images to the different nodes ( i had
20 nodes, mostly 4gb / node but also some older nodes which don't support
64bit ) and use sge to add them into the grid.

But i'm upgrading it to 64bit and i have a new server to add to the list of
nodes: a Dell PowerEdge R420 ( with 2 x E5-2420 ( 12cores total ) and 64gb
1333mhz memory ).

So i think i won't be using XEN, i'll just install SGE on the Intel Xeon
X3210 and set up a nfs to distribute an image to the nodes so if they boot
in pxe they'll get taken into the grid. Are there any guides setting up
these images?

How would you do it? I'm pretty new to setting up hpc environments so i'm
still learning.

Kind Regards,

Jan
