The one draw back there AIUI is that it is actually consumed not for the job
but for the master process of the job.  This means it won't be checked on
slave nodes.  If your nodes are identical and the scheduler assigns exclusive
access to jobs(or the pes are all single node) this won't make much difference.
Otherwise look out.
