I have browsed through the almost 500 (!) pages, and the BNF Gallica
text version is usable to make my target table from. So as far as I am
concerned, this thread can be closed.

I am on Windows. I have Ubuntu on an old laptop, but it does not
work well. Too heavy I suppose, want to switch to Xubuntu.
But hold your beer: The BNF Gallica version appears to be available
in text mode also. Have not yet had the occasion to test the
quality. I keep you all posted.
