I'm not sure I understand the original issue, but I would comment that the 'Recent Documents' menu can include documents of different types. There's a button at the bottom of the menu that allows the user to select or deselect 'Current Module Only'.

If one of LO components is open, no.

If LO is completely closed, you can launch "LibreOffice", which will
bring you to the same interface, without opening a specific LO
component.

Good answer.We cannot see the main menu without closing files.Is it
