Hi LO Writer Users:

I am trying to learn about LO Writer's Strikethrough feature. Just a hand full of strikethrough found within the LO Writer Guide. I could not find info in the guide about how to incorporate the strikethrough markings into the writer file.

I see that both the word count and character count do not change after I have marked additional words for strikethrough/deletion.

There is practical need sometimes to trim down the content within a document file to satisfy a "/maximum allowed/" requirement for characters and/or words.

Is there someway to update the count indicated near bottom of screen to show the count in effect after incorporating the revised text content, i.e., after revision?

Please, tell me where I should be looking, or the steps required, to produce the updated "/revised/" text file suitable for saving and printing.

TNX.

VinceB.
