After a recent LO update my 'Recent Documents' are now limited to the
type of document currently being displayed. This means I am only
offered recent LO-Calc files if I am currently looking at a LO-Calc
file, and I have to go through the system file manager to find, say, a
recent LO-Base file, instead of being able to call the LO-Base file
from the recent list, as it had been possible before the update. For
me, this is a step backwards in user friendliness.

As before, the LO main window shows all recent file types, but I am
unaware of a way to switch from a LO-file window to the main window

Is there any way to restore the old feature, or, perhaps better, to
switch from an open LO document window to the main LO window where the
recent files are displayed?
