Hello. I discovered LibreOffice when I searched online for a pdf program that could place restrictions on printing and downloading a pdf which pointed me to a YouTube video about LibreOffice having that feature.
I followed the instructions in the video and it worked. I was able to export a pdf with the restrictions I wanted and even Adobe Reader appears to be able to read the file and keep the restrictions. But I ran into a problem. I want to restrict a pdf I posted on a website. The pdf loads onto the website but something causes the restrictions to be disabled, i.e. the pdf on my computer has the restrictions but not on the website even though adobe reader is the viewer for both. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to restore the restrictions to my online pdf? I contacted my web hosting company who manages the website, but they did not immediately have an answer although they said they would look into it. Also does anyone know of any other pdf program besides LibreOffice that has the above restrictions feature and that does not require a subscription like Adobe Pro Reader which I think also has the feature. I would like to avoid a never ending subscription.
