BTW Currently the native MySQL ( MariaDB) sdbc has a setting ' FormsCheckrequiredFields' which can turn that function on or off. Checking just now the PostgreSQL sdbc code does not currently have that option. Yeah, that needs to go into the issue tracker for sure.
