Hi :) I think you need, from the menus Format - Bullets&Numbering ? I'm not sure. There is also "Outline Numbering" in Tools but i think that is something very different. Also once i was in a ToC the F11 styles seemed to offer choices that i haven't seen elsewhere, so maybe that might give a clue?
In the Bullets&Numbering there are various tabs that let you configure your own layouts. One lets you set different layouts for different layers/levels/whatever.
