Hi :) As mentioned in another thread on the same topic, another way is to drag those errant tool-bars onto the blank bit at the end of an existing toolbar. That way (hopefully) each time the toolbar does pop-up it's out of the way but still easy enough to reach if you do ever need it.
However if you have already gotten rid of the toolbar there is no point bringing it back just to do that! [salts] Regards from Tom :) ________________________________ From: John Jason Jordan <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Friday, 20 September 2013, 15:51 Subject: Re: [libreoffice-users] How to stop toolbars from popping up On Fri, 20 Sep 2013 07:44:03 +0100 Brian Barker <[email protected]> dijo: >At 23:06 19/09/2013 -0700, John Jason Jordan wrote: >>LO on Xubuntu 12.04. >> >>I am working on a long document with a lot of graphics and tables. >>Every time I select a graphic the Graphics toolbar pops up, the >>screen adjusts to make room for it, and it has become incredibly >>annoying. >> >>I realize some people might find this helpful, but if I want a >>toolbar I'll open the toolbar, thank you. That's what I needed.
