Hi :) I think it's just to block morons from doing stupid things without really knowing what they are doing. If someone knows how to circumvent stuff like this then they probably understand the differences between different formats and can navigate folders without too much trouble.
Now he's explained it i think it makes a lot of sense. The question is how to do it.
