Hi :) I re-found the original message. Xp it's good to hear that Xp is fine as is Debian (and therefore possibly Ubuntu too). I thought that to compile something for a specific platform you had to compile it on that platform. There is a lot about this that i don't know. Luckily i managed to dodge Vista and only have access to Xp and Win7 machines (and Ubuntu on their dual-boot). Regards from Tom :)
