It works similarly to Excel. Select the cell that is just below the rows you want repeated as row headings and just to the right of the columns you want repeated as column headings.
On the toolbar select Window | Freeze To change it or remove it, just select Window | Freeze (it will show as checked, this unchecks it). You can now scroll around and any frozen columns and rows stay in the display. This is independent of the printing of column and row headings.
