Thanks much Tom for the help. But after watching the movie a bit longer with the doctored subtitles, it turns out that they're wrong again somewhat later, so I'll have to use an application that shows both the movie and the subtitles to make editing easier. Someone recommended http://www.urusoft.net/products.php?cat=sw Subtitle Workshop , which shows a blank screen on my XP host but works OK on a Windows7 test host.
So it turns out LO wasn't the right tool for this, so I'll close this thread. Thank you. -- View this message in context: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/3-5-3-2-Calc-Can-it-renumber-lines-from-subtitle-file-tp4004958p4005022.html Sent from the Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. -- For unsubscribe instructions e-mail to: [email protected] Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
