I had removed jre from the computer and restarted the computer to update configuration. I had run j_win and been told I need a jre on the machine so was sent to the website where I downloaded jre. I ran j_win again as instructed and was told a jre environment wasn't found again and offered the opportunity to download it again and I refused. I ran the jre package and installed jre. Then I ran j_win again and this time was presented with the info screens and proceeded to install JavaAccessBridge with j_win with no problems and I have a log of the installation on the computer. Then I installed libreoffice 3.5 again and ran libreoffice and hit alt-t then o then a then a then space then return. End result, jre is defective message again from libreoffice.
