Using the previous 3.3
release,it appeared missing of some formulas (that drove me to
installthe new relelase). The pdf file is how it appear using
Microsoftword. Is a matter of some configuration parameter, or
some faultduring installation?Other docx file seem to be
correctly managed, so I presume theformulas could be the problem.I hope
this mail could
help somebody to address the problem.thanksMaurizioThe attachments are
stripped by the email system so you will need
to post the file somewhere and post the link. Also, advise us your
OS.Occasionally docx files will not open properly. This caused by MS
using an implementation that is close but completely compliant to
ODF standards. I have personally seen occasional problems with
msox formats with a good LO install. You have three options:1 Use a zip
utility to get the actual xml file to open. docx and
ODF files are actually archives and both can be "opened" using a
zip utility. You may need to change the extension to *.zip.2 Try LO
3.5.0, normally handling of docx files improves with
later releases.3 Open the file with MSO and save to ODF.HiOS is windows
XP professional version 2002 SP3I made some test, following your advice using
zip utility: the
file contains two .wmf images and I found that removing the two
images from the file it can be opened correctly (the images have
been removed editing the file by MS Office). So I suppose the
problem coul be the image format, or how they are referred in
the xml code.I'll try LO 3.5.0.Thanks a lot for your advicesMaurizio
