Hello Sigrid, thank you for the speedy reply! "Always create a backup file" was not checked, but I see that "Save Auto recovery information" was. Yet the recovered document was extremely old. I've now checked the other option -- to back up -- and am trying to recreate my work. Autorecovery didn't seem to work for some reason.
